Nicole Kohn is a born and raised New Yorker but currently resides in Sun Valley, Idaho. She was part of the 1978 class of Nightingale Bamford and later went to study at Scripps College. There, she earned her Bachelors in Fine Arts in 1983 and later in 1989, obtained her Masters degree in architecture from University of Colorado in Denver.
Her past work experiences include working for Charlie Gwathmeny, Zaha Hadid, Lord Richard Rogers, and Eva Jiricna. She is currently a painter, architect, and entrepreneur co-founder of Isabella Cane.
