SANDI BILLINGSLEA

Sandi is a mainstay of the New York music scene, having recorded with Roberta Flack, Hubert laws, Abbey Lincoln, Joss Stone, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Terence Blnchard, Dizzy Gillespie BeBe Winans, among others. Sandi has appeared in Broadway shows, including “Sunday in the Park with George,” “Chess,” and “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.” Sandi plays on the Moscow 57 Entertaining CD “Ice Wine — songs for Christmas and dark winter nights” with Ellen Kaye and Ethan Fein.

 

DMITRY & MARIA

Maria Sokolovsky (vocals) is a true powerhouse, with strong exciting voice and explosive energy, tastefully combined with the sensibility and skills of an old-fashioned artist. She is a classically trained opera singer and a graduate of Mannes College of Music. Dmitry Sokolovsky (button accordion) is a graduate of Gnesin Academy of Music in Moscow, where he initially studied classical and folk music, later expanding towards jazz and world music. Dmitry is recognized for his incredible solos, most of which are improvised on the spot. They perform regularly all over town and beyond with their DODO Orchestra.
